Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta

Hello again,
This month's adventure was in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Kirk and I went to the famous Balloon Fiesta! It was grand, and we saw tons of balloons. This shot was taken out of our balcony window. What a great place to stay (The Tamaya Hyatt) for fiesta viewing.

Stacey and Ben's Wedding

Here is the happy couple dancing at their reception. What a great trip and lovely wedding. The two were married in Mt. Vernon on the 29th of August. In attendance were aunts, uncles, cousins, siblings, parents, grandparents, etc. Quite a nice showing of support. One unfortunate incident was that Step-Dad Dave got sick during the ceremony. He had been feeling ill all day. Still waiting for diagnosis.

Congratulations Ben and Stacey

San Francisco

Hola,

San Francisco was Da Bomb! We played and ate...ate and played. We even got upgraded to a suite on Nob Hill! The Alistair McCook Suite. We ate our way through China Town and Kirk got a foot massage. Then we WALKED down to the waterfront and Pier 39. Very crowded. Don't forget the Ghiradehli Chocolate. Luckily we took a taxi home. Found the Nob Hill Cafe that gave us terrific Italian food for dinner. Yummy.

Hawaii

Kirk and I went to Hawaii for spring break. What a blast. We traveled on the NCL and visited 4 islands. We saw whales, lava, palm trees, quilts, hula dancers, etc. Hated to come back. We had so much fun we decided to go again! We'll post our trip on that later.
Aloha!

China

Last Fall I went to China with the Carpinteria Chamber of Commerce. We had a blast with 3 buses going non-stop for a week. Here is a sample of what we saw.

Alaska

Kim and I took the Holland America's cruise ship up the inland passage of Alaska last fall. It was a great trip and, I would recommend this cruise line to any searching for a premier cruise.

Oh Canada

The sisters and I went to Canada on the train trip across the Rockies. We went from Vancouver, across the Rockies to Banff, then on to Lake Louise.
